Emotional Intelligence

This course, based on the groundbreaking framework developed by Daniel Goleman, is one of the most popular and effective foundations of good leadership. Previously regarded as “un-serious” skills, measures of emotional intelligence – self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills – are now widely acknowledged to be KEY skills of successful leaders. This workshop focuses on understanding these skills and equipping participants with practical and effective ways to increase their abilities to apply them with results, as they exercise leadership.

Purpose and Direction

Effective leaders understand and pursue their dreams and goals.. The grind of routine work can obscure the original passion and purpose that first drove one to success. This intense workshop helps participants re-discover that energy and to direct it in purposeful way.

Peak Performance and Self-Sabotage

This psychologically-intense workshop introduces participants to their own competing commitments and behaviors that can lead to immunity to change. It helps them uncover ways in which they hinder their own growth and leads them to actualize their own potential.

The Art of Feedback

Managers live and die by their capacity to give and solicit feedback skilfully. Rules and tips on leadership may suffice when enhancing one’s own leadership performance. However, learning how to learn from others and being able  productively to develop the skills of our colleagues through feedback is one hallmark of a truly effective leader.

Dangers in Teamwork

Teamwork can be both rewarding and dangerous.  Teamwork can also be productive, or a waste of resources. There have been instances of elections being lost, companies failing, and even wars starting because of the hidden dangers within teamwork. This highly interactive workshop examines some of the most important issues that arise in teamwork and builds the capacity of participants to be aware of — and protect against — them.
