Anthony Wanis-St. John

Dr. Anthony Wanis-St. John is a Senior Consultant with Sea-Change Partners.  He is also an Assistant Professor at American University’s School of International Service and President and Managing Partner of RoundTable International LLC.  In these capacities, he helps clients to develop premier negotiation competencies so that they may nurture and expand their customer base, optimize their organizational performance, and manage critical business, governmental and community relationships throughout the world.

He served as a Research Associate at the Center on International Conflict Resolution at Columbia University.  His research appears in periodicals such as Negotiation Journal and Harvard Negotiation Law Review.  Dr. Wanis-St. John has taught graduate courses at University of Massachusetts, Tufts University, and Clark University.  He also created the international negotiation specialization for the Masters program at the Whitehead School of Diplomacy at Seton Hall University.

Anthony facilitates organizational alliances and mediates internal corporate and labor-management disputes.  He has trained managers in dozens of public and private sector organizations.  In the international sector, he consults with the World Bank on judicial modernization projects in El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, and Venezuela, and has worked with negotiators in the Middle East peace process.  Anthony speaks fluent Spanish and French, as well as basic Arabic.

He earned his PhD and MA from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University, and he was a Doctoral Fellow at Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation.
