Chandan Lal de Silva

Chandan de Silva is Sea-Change Partners’ Regional Director for South Asia.  He also works with the MAS group of companies in Sri Lanka, where he consults on strategy development and supplier management. He is an independent Director on the boards of MAS Investments Pvt Ltd, Hemas Transportation Pvt Ltd, Eureka Technologies Pvt Ltd, and Dunamis Capital PLC.

From 2003 to 2011 he served at Sri Lanka’s largest apparel manufacturer, MAS Holdings Pvt Ltd, where he held the positions of Head of Supply Chain Management, Co-chair of the Victoria’s Secret vendor council, Director of Strategic Planning for the MAS group and CEO of MAS’ Investment division which drove the diversification of the MAS Group.

Prior to returning to Sri Lanka in 2002, he was the C.F.O. of Nasdaq quoted Level (3) Communications Inc.’s European business, where he served from 1999 to 2002. He was the Head of Financial Planning at British Telecommunications PLC which he served from 1991 to 1999.

He graduated from the University of London and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, having qualified with Arthur Andersen & Co. in London in 1982.
